EVENT CINEMAS eGIFT CARD – TERMS & CONDITIONS - Event Cinemas eGift Cards are for use at Event Cinemas, BCC, GU Film House or Greater Union locations & online. Valid for use in Australia only. - Not valid for use at Village Cinemas. - Not valid for use in Victoria or Tasmania. - This eGift Card will be activated for use 24hrs after purchase. - Event Cinemas eGift Cards are valid for 36 months from date of purchase or until a $0 balance is reached, whichever occurs first. - This eGift Card can be redeemed in cinemas or online (www.eventcinemas.com.au) for admissions or food and beverage. -Online booking fees apply. - Event Cinemas eGift Cards cannot be used to purchase any Gift Voucher, Gift Card, eVoucher, other eGift Card or merchandise. - Treat this eGift Card like cash and keep it in a safe place. Lost or stolen eGift Cards will not be replaced or refunded. - No refunds will be provided unless required by law. - This eGift Card cannot be reloaded with any additional dollar value and the validity date cannot be extended. - If your purchase is more than the current credit amount available on your eGift Card, you can make up the full amount with another type of tender accepted in our cinemas. - Every time the eGift Card is used at the cinema, a receipt stating the remaining balance may be requested. - Any balance remaining on the eGift Card after expiry will not be available for use or change. - eGift Card balances, including any remaining balance at the time of expiry, cannot be redeemed wholly or partially for cash & no cash advances can be made at any time, regardless of whether there have been one or more transactions on the eGift Card. - Event Cinemas eGift Card balances cannot be consolidated onto a new or existing card. - This eGift Card cannot be transferred or sold without the prior written permission of The Greater Union Organisation Pty Limited (GUO). - Any use of the company name, images or logos must have the prior written consent of GUO. - eGift Cards will be void and not redeemable if they are defaced, mutilated, altered or tampered with in any way. - GUO may subject eGift Cards to verification and security checks in its absolute discretion. GUO reserves the right to cancel any Event Cinemas eGift Card, or the Event Cinemas eGift Card scheme, for any reason at any time without notice. In these circumstances, GUO may either provide a refund or a replacement Movie eGift Card of equivalent value unless it reasonably suspects fraud in relation to an eGift Card. - Expiry, balance, redemption history and full terms and conditions for Event Cinemas eGift Cards can be viewed online: eventcinemas.com.au/giftcards. - GUO reserves the right to change any terms contained in these Terms & Conditions at any time.
