The 270-degree acrylic walkthrough tunnel makes for incredible close-encounters with some of the most fascinating underwater animals on the planet. The tunnel is 50 metres long and 10 metres under the surface and treats visitors to an exceptional underwater experience as they come eye-to-eye with sharks, stingrays and other aquatic animals. Located just above the aquarium, Underwater Zoo leads visitors through three ecological zones – Rainforest, Rocky Pool Coastline and UAE Night Creatures, where a variety of aquatic animals are featured including Penguins, Crocodiles, Piranhas, Giant Spider Crabs, Otters, Water Rats, Sea Horses and Sea Jellies amongst others. A fascinating inclusion at Underwater Zoo is King Croc, one of the world’s largest reptiles and a rare phenomenon of nature. In his dedicated home, King Croc and his companion of over 20 years (Queen Croc, who is more than 80 years old!) are one of the most popular additions to the attraction.
