Since 1989, Fondazione Banco Alimentare ETS has been recovering surplus production from the agrifood chain and, through its network of 21 organizations spread throughout the country, redistributes it to more than 7,600 Territorial Partner Organizations that provide food aid to more than 1,7900,000 people in need throughout Italy.

Banco Alimentare recovers and redistributes food that is still excellent and not expired that would be destined for destruction.
